The Range field accepts a comma-separated list where each entry can be either a single page number or a hyphenated range: 1-3,5,7-9 pulls pages 1 through 3, page 5 on its own, and pages 7 through 9, all into one output PDF in that order. There's no limit on how many separate ranges or single pages you combine in one entry.

Entries are automatically de-duplicated and clamped to the document's actual page count, so accidentally listing a page twice or entering a number beyond the last page won't break the extraction — invalid or out-of-range values are simply ignored rather than causing an error.

For a genuinely single page, Single Page mode is a slightly more direct alternative to typing a one-number range, with a dedicated numeric input instead of the range text field — functionally equivalent, just a cleaner interaction when you only need one page.

The live preview always reflects the first page in your current selection, which is particularly useful when working with a scattered, non-contiguous range — it's an easy way to catch a typo (like an extra digit in a page number) before it produces an unexpected output.
