Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model downloads once to your browser (about 17MB, cached after the first run), and every conversion after that runs entirely on your device. Your photo never leaves it.
What does the boldness slider actually do?
It applies a levels-style threshold adjustment to the AI model's output — higher values push more of the drawing toward solid black for thicker lines. This updates instantly and does not re-run the AI model, since the adjustment happens on the already-computed result.
Will the output be the same resolution as my original photo?
Not necessarily. To keep conversion fast in the browser, the image is resized down to a maximum of 640px on the longest side before processing. A smaller source photo may keep its original size; a larger one will be downscaled.
What image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, and WEBP are accepted for upload, up to 10MB. The result downloads as a PNG.
